DESCRIPTION
This COIL Project had as main objective to share theoretical contents related to literacy in people who use the CAA System, together with practical experience, planning and activities to develop literacy. In order to achieve this, students worked on programming sheets of 15 tales and activities related to phonological awareness in Genially.
The objectives were:
- Describe stages, fundamentals and strategies of literacy based on evidence
- Identify intervention strategies in literacy
- Select intervention strategies in literacy and CAA according to the person’s characteristics and its complex communicational needs.
- Formulate an intervention plan with literacy activities using the Leo the Magician Program.
