Once the application is received, UDD evaluates the background and then sends the acceptance letter, necessary to process the Student Visa. The next steps to the acceptance letter are:
• Application for Temporary Residence Visa, subcategory «studies» or Temporary Stay Visa , subcategory «studies», an essential requirement to participate in the UDD exchange.
• Each international student must contract medical insurance with international coverage for the duration of their exchange in Chile, including coverage in Chile for COVID-19. It is the responsibility of each student to check the amount requested by the Chilean Government.
*International students must present the visa and medical insurance upon arrival at the UDD, otherwise they will not be able to participate in the exchange program.
