DESCRIPTION
During this Project, UDD first year students from Civil Engineering under the course of Applied Match II worked collaboratively with Denver students from different programs who belonged to the course «An Introduction to Mathematical Modeling». Students from both universities were divided in mixed international groups from 4 to 5 students.
Each week, students worked synchronously solving mathematical problems. In total, four worksheets were solved and each group handed in a report with the results. Not only was creativity and critical thinking fostered through math problems, but also students could be part of an interdisciplinary and intercultural group.
