In this project, students from the International University of Catalonia (UIC) developed two types of educational projects, one related to literacy and another in the field of health and well-being. Both projects focused on early childhood education and required an inclusive approach, as each project included students with special educational needs. What was the connection with UDD students?
The students from the Master’s in Educational Psychology (MPE) at UDD served as advisors for the projects. In pairs, they acted as coaches for the UIC students, providing suggestions for their projects and how to address cases involving special educational needs.
In the final stage, UIC students presented their projects to the MPE students, who then completed their final work by analyzing the proposal from a curriculum theory, curriculum innovation, and curriculum contextualization perspective and suggesting improvements.
