Requirements

1.- Language Requirement: Be proficient in Spanish language. We don’t require an official certificate but we require a proof of CEFR B2 level of Spanish.

2.- Academic Requirement: Meet all the academic requirements to participate of the professional internship of the last year.

3.- Vaccines:

• The Hepatitis B vaccine (3 doses) is a mandatory regulation from the MINSAL for all students of the health areas. It is requested with vaccination dates and is part of the minimum requirements demanded by health institutions and the directorates of the Health Services, which are the highest local authorities. Students who do not have this vaccine, cannot go to a clinical area.
• The COVID-19: complete vaccination schedule.
• Influenza vaccination is desirable, but not required by all locations. If a particular institution asks for it, students must meet the requirement.
• The Hepatitis A vaccine is recommended but not required.

If students need to be vaccinated in Chile, it must be one month before the start of the internship and they can do it at the Vacumed, Darvax Vaccination Centers or another of their choice.

4.- IAAS Certification: It is required to certify training in the prevention and control of infections associated with health care (IAAS).
